The Jubilee is an all volunteer organization and we need your creativity, energy and experience to help celebrate independent filmmaking in Kansas City.

Volunteer to Help Plan the Festival:
Marketing
- Public Relations - write press releases - local, regional, national
- Sponsorships - corporate sponsors for events, services (printing, accommodations, transportation, food, etc.)
- Media Relations - set up interviews on radio & TV
- Distribution of materials - flyers, posters, etc.
Programming Committee
- Pre-screening of entries
- Develop festival screening
Education
Hospitality
- Guest packets
- Transportation
- Accommodations
- Receptions - venues, food, drink
Technology
- Projection
- Program reels
- Decks
Volunteer to Work at the Festival:
Work two shifts and get a festival pass.
- Screening Hosts – introduce film/filmmaker, help clear theater after screening
- Visiting Filmmaker Host – act as personal liaison during filmmaker’s stay in KC
- Box Office / Ticket Sales / Merchandize Sales
- Transportation – transport visiting filmmakers from/to airport
- Set up / clean up – receptions, festival office, seminars, etc.
- Marketing – distribute flyers, posters, etc (March 2006)
- Audio Visual Techs – run video projectors, sound
- Photographers – Jubilee will pay for film, processing, batteries if digital.
- Videographers – Jubilee will pay for videotape.
